AQC’s Data Privacy Notice
The Association of Quality Checkers are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. Our data protection policy (together with our Cookies’ policy) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.
If you become a member of AQC, we will process small amounts of personal and business information for certain legitimate interests. “Legitimate interests” means the interests of our charity in conducting and managing our work to enable us to give you the best service we can. For example, we may want to send you relevant information which you might find useful, or promote your best practice to other members or customers.
We therefore need to process information for the following legitimate interests:
To effectively promote our members on-line to other organisations interested in Quality Checking;
To enable us to communicate with our members, with the intention of sharing and promoting organisational information for the benefit of AQC and our members;
To advise members of forthcoming events or training sessions;
To provide other forms of communication with you such as your membership arrangement, payment, and future renewals.
Whenever we process data for these purposes we will ensure that we always keep your Personal Data rights in high regard and take account of these rights.
You have the right to object to this processing if you want to, and if you wish to do so please send an email to email@example.com expressing this objection. Please bear in mind that if you object this may affect our ability to carry out the tasks above for your benefit.
